What You Will Learn...
This course will help managers and supervisors develop the necessary skills for controlling H&S on the job site, to deal with the "concept of risk", and for motivating personnel to protect themselves. All course instructors are experienced Emilcott Site H&S Supervisors who understand firsthand the unique challenges presented in this course. This course will help attendees learn how to implement health and safety plans and medical surveillance programs, and address community relations and sub-contractor issues. Emilcott uses a series of break-out sessions and problem solving-based/ workshops to help you practice your new health and safety management skills.

Who Should Attend?
Under the OSHA HazWOPER standard, it is required that anyone with supervisory or managerial responsibilities for others at hazardous waste operations (including Brownfields) must have a minimum of 8-hours specialized training beyond the initial 40-Hour HazWOPER and above those whose activities they may direct. This includes managing subcontractors. This course is specifically directed to environmental professionals, engineers, project managers, supervisors, and crew leaders.  It is also highly recommended for anyone who develops or implements health and safety plans.
