Continuing Education Points Information

Most Emilcott open enrollment courses are eligible for the following continuing education points necessary to maintain professional credentials:

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

Certification Maintenance (CM) Points

Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)

Certification Maintenance Point (CMPs)

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Continuance of Certification (COC) points

New Jersey teacher professional development hours

Emilcott is in the process of applying for preapproval of the following points for selected courses:

CM
CMP
Training Contact Hours (TCHS) necessary for New Jersey water/wastewater operator license renewal
Contact hours necessary for New Jersey Certified Public Works Manager Professional Development Hours (PDHs) necessary for New Jersey Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors
Continuing education hours for New Jersey electrical contractors.

Depending on the credential, an extra fee maybe charged to cover special paperwork requirements. Requests for points must be requested in advance of the class to ensure eligibility.
