Who Should Attend?
This course is for employees who face a risk of electrical shock or injury from uncontrolled hazardous energy and must be trained in these safety-related work practices as a part of their jobs. This includes "unqualified workers" whose work may be performed close to electrical systems.

Learning Objectives
This course will meet the OSHA requirement for unauthorized employees who work around equipment that is not reduced to a safe level.

• Awareness of the hazards of electricity

• Effects of AC current on the human body
• Required use of GFCI's on jobsites / assured grounding program
• Electrical definitions and general requirements
