Registration Process
Registration for Emilcott courses is easy.
Call 800-886-3645 and register over the phone.
Payment Policy
Emilcott accepts all major credit cards, check or company PO#. Ask about our Preferred Customer Discount Program for the easiest registration and payment options.
All registrations must be paid in advance of course date or secured with a credit card or PO#.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee will be charged as follows:
15%of course fee for cancellations less than 5 business days prior to the course date; 50% for cancellations less than 2 business days prior to the course date; full course fee will be charged to “no-shows”.
Emilcott reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course should minimum enrollment not be met. Should a course be cancelled, we will make every attempt to contact enrollees immediately up until the night before a course. Enrollees will have the option of being transferred to the next available course, or may request a full refund. Liability for cancelled courses is limited to the course fee.

Audio/Video Recording Policy
Video and audio recordings of Emilcott events and courses are prohibited without prior consent from Emilcott.

What to Expect
- Emilcott provides all the training materials needed to complete our courses. Each enrollee will receive a manual, handouts, and writing materials.
- Emilcott provides a light breakfast, full lunch and refreshments throughout the day for all of our full day courses. Please advise us of any dietary restrictions in advance and we will try to accommodate special needs.
- Emilcott recommends casual, comfortable clothing, especially for courses that may involve outside exercises, or those involving personal protective equipment.
- Periodic class breaks will be taken during the course. Smoking is allowed only during that time, and only outside the building. (Note: for classes offering respirator fit-tests, smokers must abstain for at least one hour prior to testing).
To leave a number where enrollees can be reached in case of an emergency, please use 973-765-0991. During breaks, phones are available for outbound calls using calling cards or to local and 800 numbers. Please refrain from the use of cellular phones and beepers during class time.

Continuing Education Points
The EMILCOTT Training Institute offers ABIH Certification Maintenance (CM) Points, NJDEP Training Contact Hours (TCH) and Continuing Education Units (CEU), and Certified Hazardous Materials Management Certification Maintenance Points (CMPs) for many of its open-enrollment courses. Points currently available are listed under each course description.

AMERICAN BOARD OF INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE CERTIFICATION MAINTENANCE
Every year Emilcott submits its new courses for American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) Certification Maintenance points. The Board then reviews the material submitted and awards the CM points for courses meeting their requirements. Students must contact the ABIH and submit all paperwork themselves.
NJDEP TRAINING CONTACT HOURS & CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS *
The EMILCOTT Training Institute seeks course approval for continuing education credits for water supply and wastewater operator license renewal by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) through the NJ Water Environment Association. The NJWEA requires Emilcott to complete and submit paperwork for all students seeking credit. Please let our staff know that you are interested in applying for these credits during registration or at the beginning of the course. Private courses can also be approved. *There is a $15 NJWEA application fee per student.

CERTIFIED HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT CERTICATION MAINTENANCE
The Institute of Hazardous Material Management has approved many Emilcott courses for Certification Maintenance Points. Generally, students will receive 0.25 CMPs for 4 hours of training time. We currently offer 9 pre-approved courses for which CHMM students can submit paperwork for continuing education credits.

BOARD OF CERTIFIED SAFETY PROFESSIONALS: CONTINUANCE OF CERTIFICATION
The BCSP does not pre-approve courses to receive credit for Continuance of Certification. They request that you refer to their Continuance of Certification (COC) Guide when you are getting ready to fill out the COC Worksheet at the end of your cycle. Courses offered by Emilcott have traditionally had a high rate of approval from attending CSPs.
