Do You Understand
TSCA 2012 CDR Requirements?

Compliance with Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) is increasingly more difficult and time consuming.

The TSCA Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule contains significant changes to the submission requirements including
  • modifications to reporting thresholds
  • specific chemical identity information
  • reporting years
  • exemptions for inorganic chemicals
  • limits and substantiation of confidentiality claims
  • methods of submission
  • division of responsibility
With the August 2011 publication of the TSCA CDR Rule, industry is required to submit more and more detailed information on chemicals imported and manufactured – the 2012 CDR submission requirements are much more complex than 2006 IUR.

Ignorance and Unpreparedness Are Not An Option
If you are found to be out of compliance, the EPA may issue a civil administrative complaint and impose harsh civil penalties that can accrue daily until the violation is corrected with all complaints and penalties posted in the public record.
