As Training Manager of the Emilcott Training Institute, I have the pleasure of talking with hundreds of our clients each year – assessing their needs, suggesting topics and agendas and providing the actual training. From that information and student feedback, we develop our course offerings each year. Our annual course catalog introduces both the open-enrollment courses we offer at the Institute as well as a summary of what we can provide privately at your location. We believe it truly reflects the needs of you, our clients.
For 2007, we again offer you a selection of core HazWOPER, construction and general occupational health & safety courses, and as in the past, we have included a mix of new topics directed at various industries and occupations. In addition, we are able to provide several special services such as Fire Extinguisher Training, Forklift Certification, Respirator Fit-testing Services, and Confined Space Rescue Training. And while the majority of our classes are delivered by traditional classroom / hands-on methods, we can work with you to develop computer-based courses such as CD-Rom, Live Web Cast or over the Internet.
Since 1986, we have trained thousands of students at our training center and at client locations. This gives all Emilcott instructors ample opportunity to widen their H&S training abilities. Our instructors have developed their skills in the art of adult education as part of their on-going job performance at Emilcott. This includes the use of state-of-art training tools and software as well as student learning, evaluation and testing techniques. In addition, all Emilcott instructors have extensive environmental, health and safety field experience, working with many of our clients to help them meet regulatory compliance. I personally oversee all curriculums to assure that both client needs and regulatory requirements are met.
