OSHA’s Emergency Response Requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120q are not always easy to decipher. Even after 20 years on the record, the standard still raises questions concerning a facility’s requirements in the event of an accidental spill or release.

On-site First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator Certification
Are you thinking about training your employees in First Aid, CPR and how to use a Defibrillator (AED)?
Emilcott now offers American Red Cross Certified Instruction in Standard First Aid, Adult CPR and AED. All three courses together generally take 8 hours to complete, but can be scheduled “off-hours”. Participants will receive certification from the American Red Cross.

Respiratory Protection Services
Call 800-886-3645 to ask for a price quote for half day, whole day or individual testing.
If your company issues respirators to your employees for protection against airborne hazards, a Written Respiratory Protection Plan is required. Medical clearance and annual respirator fit-testing are also required before anyone can wear a respirator.
Emilcott will provide Respirator Fit-testing services at your location. Both Quantitative and Qualitative testing services are available depending on the requirement. A 1-Hour training covering the basics of Respirator Usage and Care can also be provided prior to fit-testing sessions. Individuals can be tested at our location in Chatham as well.
