PROJECT MANAGER – EHS Professional
Emilcott provides high quality and reliable consulting and training services to help clients meet or exceed occupational health and safety and environmental compliance. We are looking for an EHS Professional with 7-10 years experience interested in a diverse/flexible working environment and an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the EHS business. This is great opportunity for a certified professional (CIH, CSP or CHMM) to experience all levels of a consulting practice and the "revenue generation side" of the environmental, health and safety field. We are looking for an independent worker with a strong sense of customer service. Job Responsibilities will include: project management; field work at client locations; development and presentation of training programs; report and proposal writing. Will also direct junior staff in project work and manage specific clients. Working with our Business Unit Directors and other Project Managers, the ideal candidate would be responsible for working on a variety of health and safety related projects servicing clients across several industry sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-talented individual who believes that they: 1) are well-organized, 2) has excellent written and oral communication skills, 3) works independently and 4) has the technical background and proven success in the environmental, health and safety field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for client projects in all areas of EHS compliance
• Manage projects involving a span of EHS objectives: exposure assessments, audits Health & Safety oversight, program development, hazard assessments, accident investigations, and more
• Write field reports and final work product
• Interface with clients—write proposals
• Opportunities to contribute to the development and delivery of EHS training courses

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience as an EHS Professional in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consulting, laboratory, insurance or the chemical industry
• Basic EHS knowledge and experience in areas of construction (highly desired) and industry safety, hazardous waste, IH and/or emergency response
• BS or BA in an Applied Science, Public Health or Environmental Science
• Associates Degree Plus Military Experience Considered
• Graduate level education such as a Masters in Public Health, Environmental Health, similar or Graduate students are very highly desired
• Spanish & Portuguese Language skills a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated
