Emilcott, a leader in the Environmental, Health & and Safety industry, has a unique employment opportunity involving a Fortune 50 client.

In 2009, Emilcott was awarded an extremely important project assisting a Fortune 50 company to fulfill European Union mandates for chemical product safety reporting and documentation. As this project enters Phase II, we have an opening for four additional full-time temporary employees to help us complete this important assignment.

The temporary assignment to this project will be approximately from Aug 2010 – Jan 2011. Successful candidates will work directly for the Emilcott project staff managing this effort and closely with the client’s project team at their location in Hunterdon County, NJ. Training will be provided by both Emilcott and the client.

This is an excellent opportunity for college interns/co-ops and recent grads. We are looking for multi-talented individuals who are 1) well-organized, 2) show high attention to detail 3) independent workers and self-motivated 3) team players 4) and highly reliable.

In addition, candidates must 1) have your own transportation to worksite, 2) maintain a fixed schedule 3), be available for the duration of the project, and 4) pass a background check, skills proficiency testing, and drug/alcohol screening.

The purpose of this project is to help our client to be in compliance with European Union (EU) REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) mandates. The fundamental goal of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals in the EU. POSITION: CSR DATA TRANSCRIBERS (DTs) Position #3515

Under the direction of Emilcott Project Management, DTs will flawlessly transcribe information from paper copy documents or other electronic file media to the appropriate locations in a database while following detailed stepwise instructions for data entry to generate REACH Chemical Safety Reports.

Requirements: DT applicants must be a candidate for, or hold, a 2 or 4 year college degree. Candidates must have proven ability to transcribe scientific information into software database and have a high aptitude for detailed work. The individuals selected for this position will be fluent in computer use. Ideal candidates will have taken some undergraduate science classes or have previous experience providing clerical support in a chemical manufacturing or research environment.

Only Candidates available for full-time work (approx. 40 hours/week) will be considered.

Compensation for Data Transcribers:
40 hours per week at $20/hour
Bonus of one week salary awarded at completion of project
