What You Will Learn
The goal of this course is to provide the theoretical background and practical steps needed to develop a half-day to five day occupational safety and health course with the objective of improving learning outcomes. This course will address the following topics using discussion, group and hands on applied activities: adult learning theory, cognitive learning theory, learning styles, ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional systems development (ISD) model, learning objectives, and lesson plans. Attendees will use learning theory and the ADDIE ISD model to write learning objectives, organize lessons and develop a lesson plan.
Who Should Attend?
This one day course is designed for the occupational safety and health or training professional who must develop training courses and wants to increase their formal training knowledge and improve practice.
