Adult Education Series Course #1: Training Program Development and Evaluation

What You Will Learn
The goal of this course is to provide a broad overview of the issues and needs of managing a training function within an organization with the objective of improving employee performance. This course will address the following topics using discussion, group and hands on applied activities; OSHA training requirements, needs assessments, selection of instructional delivery systems (distance learning vs. face-to-face), effectiveness of instructional delivery systems, program evaluation models and techniques, learning assessments, and learning management systems and recordkeeping. Attendees will develop a plan for implementing and evaluating training for their own organization.
Who Should Attend?
This one day course is designed for the occupational safety and health professional, human resources manager or business administrator who needs to develop, manage and evaluate occupational safety and health training programs.
