Description
If you are actively working on hazardous waste sites, including Brownfields, you must renew your initial HazWOPER training annually. Emilcott’s courses are updated every year and introduce new topics to give you the opportunity to learn more about health and safety on the job.

What You Will Learn
Every year Emilcott offers a new course. In addition to covering important regulatory changes and updates in both construction and general industry, for 2008 we will introduce a new section profiling the Chemical Databases available to the EHS profession. There will also be a section on Hazard Control including engineering controls, administrative controls and PPE.  Other topics covered this year include a Fall Protection review, managing Hazardous Waste Generation and Incident Analysis. As always, our curriculum will include lecture, group breakout sections and interactive sessions. 

Who Should Attend?
Annual renewal of your initial 40 or 24 - Hour HazWOPER training is an OSHA requirement if you are actively working at a hazardous waste operation (including Brownfields). We are offering 13 refresher dates in 2008 making it convenient to be in compliance.  HazWOPER training is recommended for environmental professionals, engineers, geologists, drillers, surveyors, contractors, and those working in or around hazardous waste operations.
